Criteria:
Watermen who drowned or died in the line of duty while working in their industry on and along New Jersey’s Delaware Bay

Definition of a Waterman: a person who makes a living from the water fishing or trapping.

Watermen occupations include: fisheries (such as fish, oysters, clams, crabs, eel, sturgeon, shad) or trapping
